16 Do you not know & understand that you [the church] are the temple of God,  & that the Spirit of God dwells [permanently] in you [collectively & individually]?
 
1 Pet 2:5 (AMP)
5 You [believers], like living stones, are being built up into a spiritual house for a holy & dedicated priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices [that are] acceptable & pleasing to God through Jesus Christ.
