“Not Just a Baby In a Manger”

God said over & over that there would be a time when a Savior would come to rescue mankind.  That Savior was the Messiah to come – Jesus Christ – which God then prophesied over 300 times in the Old Covenant.

  • His birth place,
  • His life,
  • His death, and its details, and finally,
  • His eternal purpose.

This Savior would become our bridegroom.

14 And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) & tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; & we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, [AMP says — the Son who is truly unique, the only One of His kind]full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.
